Dream, Design, Deliver is our process to help your dream home become a reality. Our 3 step process outlines our responsibilities to ensure all aspects of the project delivery including design, costs and deadlines are fulfilled to your satisfaction.
Dream
Our first step is all about you. Your Dream.
Getting to know you, your home and what you’re hoping to achieve.
The Dream Stage is an incredibly important step which articulates your vision and helps us put pen to paper on your quality custom designed home.
This stage is unrushed and we spend as much time as required here as we want to deliver the best outcome for your project. We explore every aspect of your dream, your scrapbook and Pinterest inspirations, along with our designers suggestions to develop a design that is uniquely tailored to your lifestyle and budget.
By the end of this stage we will have completed the following:
- Initial consultation
- Project brief
- Site analysis of property
- Draft scope of works
- Concept plans
- Budget estimate
Design
For our second step, we move into the Design phase.
In this phase we will develop your concept drawings into detailed working drawings and specifications.
This will ensure the intimate details of your dream home are translated from paper to reality when we commence construction. We will be right there to assist with all of the critical decisions so by build time you can just sit back and wait for your new home to be completed stress free.
As the Design is developed, we work through all aspects of the project and provide advice on constructability, innovative building methods, material selections, cost and programme opportunities so upon completing your plans, we will have a high quality design you can be proud of.
By the end of this stage we will have completed the following:
- Conceptual and detailed design options
- Detailed project specifications
- Prepare documentation and drawings required for Council approval
- Final specification
- Working drawings
- Final costing & signing of HIA construction contract
Deliver
Our third and final step is where we deliver your dream home.
It is the most rewarding stage of them all to see your new custom home come to life after months of planning and preparation. You can sit back and relax knowing that every minor detail is already organised and scheduled as part of the build.
Once all the dreaming and designing is complete our Directors will personally and with great care meticulously plan, sequence and supervise the delivery of your project. They are hands on and fully invested in this project with you and excited to exceed your expectations.
Throughout construction, you will be kept up to date with frequent project updates of completed and forecasted works. Your project will be delivered to the highest standard and in an efficient timeframe to ensure you enjoy your custom home sooner and with no fuss.
By the end of this stage we will have completed the following:
- Apply for building permit
- Construction planning
- Project management
- Occupational Health and Safety Compliance
- Quality Control
- Regular client meetings and project updates
- Hand over
It is hard to put into words how impressed and grateful we were to have Hampel Stephens as our builders. Their guidance, loyalty, patience, respect, truthfulness and personalised service was amazing. We appreciated everything they did for us, certainly went above and beyond. They made our experience building a house a really memorable and enjoyable one.
